Facebook Pages and Instagram

Set a trigger. SocialBot posts your reply.

Connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram account you manage. When a comment matches a rule, SocialBot replies on that comment with the message you wrote — once, and only while your subscription is active.

  • Your exact reply text
  • One reply per comment
  • Rules stay on each account

How it works

From a comment to the reply you prepared

Auto-reply runs for the comment auto-reply service, on accounts you have connected, for as long as the subscription stays active.

  1. Subscribe

Create an account and subscribe to the comment auto-reply service.

  2. Connect

Add a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account that you manage.

  3. Write the rules

Each rule has a trigger and the reply SocialBot should post for it.

  4. Someone comments

SocialBot checks that comment against the rules for the account where it was posted.

  5. The reply goes out

A match gets your reply on that comment. If nothing matches, the first rule is used.

Platforms

Facebook and Instagram, kept separate

A rule you create for a Facebook Page does not apply to an Instagram account unless you also create it there.

Facebook

Comments on a connected Page

SocialBot replies to comments on posts published on a Facebook Page you connect. Rules for that Page stay on that Page.

Instagram

Comments on a professional account

SocialBot replies to comments on posts published on an Instagram professional account you connect. Those rules are configured on their own.

Reply rules

A trigger, and the reply you wrote in advance

A trigger can be a number, such as 1, 2, or 3, or another short phrase. The reply is posted exactly as you entered it.

A number matches when the comment is that number, ignoring extra spaces. Any other trigger matches when it appears in the comment.

Reply behavior

What happens after a comment matches

Posted on that comment, in your words

The reply is posted on the same platform, as a reply to the matching comment. SocialBot uses the text exactly as you entered it.

Once per comment

SocialBot replies once. Editing the rule later does not send a second reply to a comment that was already answered.

Not to its own replies

SocialBot does not reply to the replies it posted.

On or off, per rule

You can enable or disable a rule without deleting it. Disabled rules are skipped.

Active subscriptions only

When a subscription ends or is cancelled, SocialBot stops replying on that subscriber’s connected accounts.

Only your accounts

Each subscriber manages their own connected accounts, rules, and reply text.
